Why Women Leaders are more effective than Men?

According to a report by Credit Suisse Research Institute, the number of women on the boards of companies in India has doubled over the past six years, from 5.5% in 2010 to 11.2% in 2015. Women are at the top notch position in various sectors, including finance, banking, media, education and so on.  If you see back many leaders were men, but real story behind is that without women, men would have never been leaders. What makes women better leaders and out shine in their respective domains?

  • Women can multitask

Women have a knack for multitasking. They can manage a wide variety of things effectively without creating a chaos. They have a very strong memory and are detail oriented. They perform a microscopic examination of every situation.

  • Women can communicate well

Women are more diplomatic than men. They are familiar with the art of saying the right thing at the right time. Also, they are strict and shrewd when the need arises. On the other hand, they listen with undivided attention. Hence, they can understand the situation, evaluate the pros and cons and then take a decision.

Women are surely the go-getters. They are focused and aware of their goals. They make sure the work is done as expected and try to accomplish their motives under any circumstances.

Women believe in establishing relations and maintaining them. They actively participate in the team building activities and work in collaboration with the team members.

Women have proved to be focused and dedicated towards their personal growth, growth of the team and the company’s growth as a whole. They are nurturers and care givers.

In short, women have great leadership skills, convincing power and willingness to make it happen. But the irony is that women tend to take a back seat as their priorities change after a certain age. All we can do is to support them as the world needs more able leaders.
